Planning the new EZ360 MediaLayer 'builder'

Nearly all our planning and design work to date for the new EZ360 MediaLayer has focused on the the online viewer through which car shoppers will interact. The more time shoppers spend on a vehicle detail page (VDP) the more likely they are to buy a car from that dealership. So building a great viewer is job number one.

But we will also must provide a tool for our clients to curate their content. We want to give car dealers a high degree of control while keeping it quick and easy to use. Sales managers should be responding to leads and selling cars, not editing car photos.

That’s why our builder tool will lean heavily on automation. The more our tools can intelligently leverage the power of computers and databases, the more value our clients will realize from EZ360.

Is it possible to automatically create an immersive car shopping experience? The answer, we think, is yes.

As we work on the interface our dealer clients will use to curate their inventory content we are building templates for common vehicle types.
