We are moving beyond paper mock-ups with prototype designs for our new MediaLayer. This gives our team a better idea of how everything will look, feel and function.
Our mission is to design an online media player that offers a more immersive experience for car shoppers. The challenge is to pack tons of vehicle media into an interactive viewer without cluttering the screen with buttons, icons and tools. And the interface needs to be intuitive and easy to use. We try to strike a balance.
If we nail this we will make auto dealer websites more sticky. Car buyers will spend more time on dealer websites. Ultimately this will increase sales for auto dealers.
Through many iterations we’ve settled on a design that we think gives our customers (and their customers) the best chance to increase engagement and sales.
